Eric Hannelius is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with more than 25 years of experience shaping the financial technology landscape. Throughout his career, Eric has founded and led multiple successful companies, pioneering scalable payment solutions and driving transformative growth. 

As the Founder and CEO of Vision Payment Solutions Inc., Eric grew the company from a startup to a global payments powerhouse before its acquisition by EVO Payments International. He continued to lead as CEO and President, guiding the company through integration and beyond.

 Before founding VPS, Eric was a founding member of General Catalyst Partners, where he gained invaluable venture capital and strategic planning experience. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Fleet Boston Financial Group, deepening his expertise in financial services. 

Today, Eric leads Pepper Pay LLC, focusing on next-generation payment technologies designed to empower businesses of all sizes. His approach combines analytical rigor with creative problem-solving, always centered on delivering secure, efficient, and customer-focused solutions.
